Corrections and removals

Everything on Dooflist was read from a public listing. If one of them is yours and something is wrong, or you would rather it were not here at all, this is how to say so. You do not need to explain why.

• The address of the gig page on Dooflist (it looks like dooflist.com/gig/…), or the venue page.
• What is wrong, or that you want it removed.
• Who you are in relation to it: the venue, the promoter, an artist on the bill, or the owner of the artwork.

What happens

We act within two days of receiving it. A correction is made on the gig page, in the feed at its next publish, and in the share card. A removal takes the gig off the site and out of the feed the same way, and stops it coming back when the source is read again.

One thing we cannot reach directly: a calendar that already synced the gig keeps its own copy until it next polls the feed, which for most calendar apps is within a day. Once the gig is gone from the feed, the calendar drops it on that poll.

Posters and descriptions

Posters are shown from the seller’s own copy and never stored here. If you own the artwork or the text and want it gone while the gig stays listed, say that; the gig can be shown without it.

Whole sources

If you run a ticketing site or a listing site that Dooflist reads and would prefer it did not, the same address reaches the person who can turn it off, and it is turned off rather than argued about.
