This Friday night! AUM WINTER SERIES with MORTEN GRANAU (Denmark) This Friday night (25 Sept) we're back with our last AUM Winter Series warehouse party for 2026, a progressive trance showcase. We are excited to host Danish DJ Morten Granau for his first visit to New Zealand. He is the biggest psy name we've hosted during the year since Infected Mushroom. This will be another old-fashioned psy stomp spanning a few subgenres of the psychedelic realm over the night. We also have quality local support DJ Sharkra, VYXN and Ferksta. Morten Granau Morten Granau is a veteran of the psytrance scene and one of the leading names in Europe. The Copenhagen native's production style has the psychedelic touch of classic progressive trance combined with a modern sense of clubby funkiness. His sound has seen him partner with close friend, Phaxe, who was our guest on the first Winter Series event in June. Morten entered the world of psytrance in 2001 when he was just 13 years old. He immediately began the path to becoming a DJ and producing his own tracks. By just 15, he was already performing to dancefloors at clubs in his hometown. His production skills and career quickly bloomed and he was soon releasing records as High & Mighty alongside Phaxe. Their production "The Grudge" put them on the map in a big way. His solo productions were staples on the leading label in psytrance in the 2010s, Iboga Records. And in the 2020s he's had dozens of records released on the iconic German psychedelic label, Spintwist Records. Morten's unique musicality has made him a sought-after DJ at events and festivals around the world. He can be seen on some of the biggest festivals, including Tomorrowland, Burning Mountain, Indian Spirit Festival, Antaris Project, Mandallah Festival in Brazil and many more. ABOUT THE AUM WINTER SERIES AWS events are showcases of the sounds and decor seen at AUM Festival over new years. They’re a chance for people to see what AUM is all about and for our festival community to reconnect during the year. Each event is designed fresh with the collaboration of the takeover teams. They are festival family affairs and are a great chance to bring people together in winter. We have some special treats lined up for you lovelies and we’re so excited for this first event and new years too which is already sure to be something special. We think we're going to blow your mind. Actually... we know we will. VENUE INFO The venue is an industrial warehouse location perfect for parties. It’s located about 15 minutes from the CBD. We’ll release the location the night before the event. Note: there is limited street parking so please consider taking an Uber or carpooling. R18 Date: Friday 25 September, 7.30pm til late.
